Temperature Reduction!
Notice the darkened
strip which records 300ºF (154ºC) on the
exhaust side of the HeetSheet.
Another Thermax
strip mounts on an aluminum bracket
between the HeetSheet shield and the valve cover.
The maximum
temperature recorded is 220ºF, an 80 degree
difference. This is
a significant reduction in radiated heat onto the
engine - a function
of the HeetSheet exhaust temperature
barriers.
